The King of Keys

King of Keys

Have you ever lost your keys? You probably have. Just imagine a funny little king who lives right in your heart and keeps the keys to your conscience. This King could help you learn what's right and what's wrong by providing you with a key. Such is the premise in Grey Seal's original story, The King of Keys.

In this 45-minute production, the audience follows the trials and tribulations of the wise and wonderful King of Keys as he bestows special keys to unlock the best in those around him. Do you know someone that needs to unlock some kindness? Perhaps another needs a key to courage. For yet another strength is the key. The King of Keys can help.

How do we know he can help? Well, during the performance, the King helps Jack and Jill get up the hill by giving them the key to cooperation. He helps a funny lizard step away from the proverbial salad bar. The King unlocks the gift of compromise for Little Red Riding Hood and The Wolf and encourages an Ugly Duckling to believe in himself. The King of Keys even helps Humpty Dumpty get back together again!

It's fun to wonder what The King of Keys is up to within our own hearts. Which keys is he providing for us and which keys are we using? Follow the antics and find your own set of keys along the way.
